Kline Mercedes AMG GTS

In the Mercedes AMG GTS, the already outstanding performance of the Mercedes AMG GT is boosted even further with a 4.0 Litre V8 Bi-Turbo engine. With additional highlights that allow configuration of vehicle systems to make it desirous of a racetrack, the Mercedes AMG GTS is an outstanding expression of the essence of AMG. How could we improve it? Simply by giving her a voice to match the performance and styling!

The Sound

High flow catalysts, or decats, open the volume up significantly, replacing the restrictive stock cats with our 100 CPSI race cats, or decats, allows us to open the sound and performance drastically.

Our signature 1D CLR tight radius x pipe raises the pitch to where a supercar should be. Addition of our perfect x pipe geometry enriches the sound effectively widening the soundscape, to give more aggressive midrange and treble tones. The valvetronic rear section integrates the valve control seamlessly to the cars OEM functionality, allowing the car to be driven almost silently on valve close, and give a rich baritone aggressive vocal on valve open.

Cross Sections

All cross sections have been increased over stock by around 10%, to give the best balance of torque, increased power, enhanced sound, and ultimate performance.

Inconel

Inconel 625, as used in the aerospace industry where extremely durable and heat withstanding components are required, for example for the exhaust turbine blades in high performance jet engines. Inconel is also used for the manufacture of Formula1 exhausts and has also been used by some manufacturers on hypercar projects such as McLaren P1, Aston Martin 177, where lightness is a factor, and exhaust temperatures regularly exceed 1000°C.
The basic properties of Inconel are characterised by extremely high tensile strength, and extreme thermo chemical stability. Because of the high tensile strength of Inconel (roughly the same strength to weight ratio as titanium), very thin sidewall material can be used while still maintaining structural integrity, resulting in very lightweight components that will not fatigue over time. Using Inconel requires a high skill level and is a very time-consuming process which is all worthwhile for the highest quality exhaust system.
